About Shannon Nicole, Founder of Switch to America

I am Shannon Nicole.

For over twenty years I have been a health coach. I work with women in their forties, fifties and sixties, helping them get healthy and reverse disease in their bodies. That is the work. I am incredibly passionate about it, and I have been doing it long enough to know what actually moves the needle for a woman who has been told for years that this is just what getting older feels like.

It is almost never just aging. It is what she is eating, and what she is breathing, and what she is putting on her skin every single morning without thinking about it.

How I got here

I learned the hard way that the products we have been buying for decades are filled with toxins that affect our weight, our hormones, our sleep, our mood and our long-term health.

Nobody handed me that. I figured it out young, on my own, with nobody to guide me and no internet to ask. I was raising my daughter and I had a bad feeling about what I was bringing into the house, so I started reading. What I found was that the answers were not printed anywhere.

For the last seven years I have helped women switch to a toxin-free home.

What still makes me angry

Not that these products exist. That a mother can do everything right, read every word on the back of a bottle, and still not be told what is in it.

The truth has never been on the labels. They do not have to print it, so they do not.

What I know

You cannot read your way out of this. The label is not your protection and it was never designed to be. What works is changing who you buy from.

So I made it my mission to help families break free from the toxic supply chain and switch to healthier, American-made alternatives. Here at Switch to America, we are the manufacturer. We leave out the middlemen and provide you with affordable non-toxic options. That is the whole model.
